New to Family Church Jamestown?

At Family Church Jamestown you’ll find a family of believers with love and real-life experience to help you grow, connect and find God’s perfect will for your life. If you have recently accepted Jesus as your Savior or have just made Family Church Jamestown your home church then you are probably wondering what your next steps are. Here are 3 basics to put you on the right track to God’s will for your life.

Step 1: Connect

There is nothing more important then connecting with others of like-minded faith. Stay connected! There are many ways to get connected.

Step 2: Grow

  • Read your Bible

    After you accept Jesus as your Savior your old life has gone and it is important to renew your mind with the Word of God. The bible says the Word of God is life to those who hear it and healing to all their flesh (Proverbs 4:20-22). Focus on the New Testament to begin.

  • Attend Church

    Regularly attend church to get fed the Word. The bible makes it clear that we should not forsake the gathering together of ourselves in Christ (Hebrews 10:25). The bible also makes it clear that where 2 or more are gathered in the name of Jesus God’s presence shall be there (Matthew 18:20). Family Church Jamestown is a great place to get fed the Word.

  • Pray

    There are many verses in the Bible that instruct us to pray such as Ephesians 6:18, Philippians 4:6, and 1 Thessalonians 5:17 to name a few. Prayer keeps us humble before God, allows us to communicate with God, gives us power over evil, and is always available with many other benefits. To begin, pray to the best of your ability and as you grow in your walk with the Lord your prayers will become more and more effective.

Step 3: Serve

As you continue to strengthen your relationship with Christ you may feel a tug to honor God in a greater measure by serving in the church. As you remain faithful towards the things of God it will become apparent that God has a purpose for you in the church. Serving in the church is a great way to show honor, faithfulness, and reveal higher callings upon your life.

Serving in the ministry of helps can mean doing anything. God is after your heart of willingness not your desire to be seen. Will you be faithful in the least? In any area of helps it is an honor to serve and an opportunity for growth. If you have a tug to participate in the ministry of helps then please submit your information and we will review it for an opportunity to serve.

Family Church is a safe place with ministries for all.

At Family Church, we know that everyone wants a place to fit in; to belong. We have a number of great ministry programs to get involved in at the church. We believe that the church is a place to form lifelong friendships and bonds with those of like faith. For more information on a particular ministry, please go to our contact page or visit us for a service. We’d be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Sunday School – Not Live-streamed.

Select Sundays starting at 9:45 a.m.Join our communications list here to be notified of start dates and times.

  • Ages 3+4 Sunday School is located in our current Nursery which is just past the restrooms on the left side hallway of the building.
  • Ages 5-8 Sunday School is located in our Little Adventurers room which is just past the Nursery on the left side hallway of the building.
  • Ages 9-12 Sunday School is located in our Kingdom Adventures room which is the fourth door down on the right side hallway of the building.
  • Ages 13-Adult Sunday School is located in the Sanctuary.
Nursery*
Nursery is available during our Sunday 10:30 a.m. and Wednesday 6:30 p.m. services for children who are crawlers to 2 years old. Please sign-in your child at the front desk. Nursery opens 15 minutes prior to service time.
Little Adventurers*
Little Adventurers is available during our Sunday service for children ages 3-4 and also available Wednesday nights for ages 3-5. Sign-in child at the front desk and they will be dismissed during announcements in service, except on Wednesday Nights where they go straight to the classroom upon sign-in.
Kingdom Adventures*
Kingdom Adventures is available during our Sunday service for children ages 5-6. Sign-in your child at the front desk and they will be dismissed during announcements in service. There is no Kingdom Adventures on Wednesday Night.
ULTIMATE! Junior Youth Group
The Ultimate Junior Youth Group is for children in grades 5-8. They meet Tuesdays from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Youth Center. To signup for youth group please come to the front desk before/after service to snag a youth group flyer and ask to register your kids.
ULTIMATE! Senior Youth Group
The Ultimate Senior Youth Group is for children in grades 9-12. They meet Fridays from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in the Youth Center. To signup for Senior Youth Group please come to the front desk before/after service to snag a youth group flyer and ask to register your teen.
Family Fellowship
Open to all ages. Family Fellowship hosts events all throughout the year for all ages to gather, fellowship and have fun with other brothers and sisters in Christ. Events are announced in service and include things like pastor appreciation, game nights, drive-in movie nights during the summer, chili cook-offs and much more. Connect with us on Facebook, join our text list or attend to be notified.

*Please check your child in at the reception desk upon arriving at the church before service. Children in L.A. and K.A. will be dismissed after worship to leave the sanctuary.
